1. Eligibility

Participants must be 18 years of age or older and reside in eligible locations to enter the Fright Lights Showdown.

 

2. Entry Guidelines

All entries must be submitted and approved on FrightMaps before being considered for the contest. Participants must provide a URL link to their approved FrightMaps post showcasing their Halloween decorations.

 

3. Judging Criteria

Entries will be judged based on originality and creativity, with a focus on capturing the spirit of Halloween.

 

4. Prizes

    •    1st Place: $500

    •    2nd Place: $250

    •    People’s Choice: $250 (determined by the highest number of votes at the contest’s conclusion)

 

5. Disqualification

Participants found creating multiple accounts for voting or engaging in any fraudulent activities will be disqualified. Additionally, entries containing offensive or inappropriate content will be removed and disqualified.

 

6. Legal Compliance

The contest is subject to all applicable local, state, and federal laws and regulations. Void where prohibited by law.

 

7. Donation Clause

A portion of each entry fee ($5) will be donated to Skeletons for Hope, supporting their mission to help children in need.

 

8. People’s Choice Award

The People’s Choice winner will be determined by the highest number of votes at the end of the contest.
